My happiest moment, When I raced
with my brother on the street of Jakarta, it felt like a gap between heaven and earth was
so close. The faster I went, the more peace I gained, my brother rode a Honda
NSR while I rode my Suzuki Raider. Even though I knew that I’d never be able to
catch him with his 2-stroke devil engine. I still enjoyed it, because I could
tailed him. Well at least I didn’t lose him on my sight, the greatest moment
was in cornering, my brother’s right leg coming out when approaching right
turn. He leaned his body as he entered the turn then pushed throttle hard. That
was wicked cool, so I followed him. Of course, with his way. That right leg
coming out moves was actually “The Doctor” Valentino Rossi’s signature moves.
Imagine, logically. When we’re about to enter a turn, we used our right leg to
hit the brake pedal to brake the rear wheel, right? On the contrary, The Doctor didn’t use the pedal
brake. Actually right leg coming out moves was also made the weight shifted
to the right rapidly. So was it for taunt or shifting weight? I could say both
could be the answer. And also when there’s a long straight road, what did we
do? Of course, full throttle to the end. Then tucked in behind the bike’s
fairing, unfortunately Raider didn’t have a windscreen. But I did still tuck
in, but then. I got left behind, the more I pulled the throttle, the farther the
gap between us. The last moment was on the red light, we always called it as a
“red light shooter”. Because when the countdown number on the red light went to
number 3, we’ve already pull the throttle hard. When it went green, we’ve gone
like the wind. And again, I was behind my brother. Although I always got
smoked, I enjoyed the beautiful-smooth and Rossi-like riding of my brother.
I’ve missed you brother, I look forward to race with you. And with 69 Dax the
Lunatic yet awesome mechanic, not to forget the Nova Sonic rider.
